Bio

Dominic trained at Rose Bruford College and holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre Arts and a PGCE from Canterbury University. He has a busy schedule directing, acting, teaching and coaching. He headed up the Drama department of Morley College for 5 years and ran a successful campaign to prevent the closure of the Drama department, which continues to thrive to this day.

As an actor Dominic has worked extensively in theatre, film and television, including The Royal Court theatre, The Royal National theatre and The Young Vic; Weird Weather (Vaults Festival), On the Waterfront (Steven Berkoff/East productions), Repertory theatre at Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Ipswich, Plymouth, Lincoln and Nottingham. Fringe work includes the award winning Cherub Theatre company (As You Like it), Kurtz Theatre company (Here is Monster).

TV appearances in Tripped, The Bible, Doctors, 99-1, Serious and Organised, The Genius of Mozart, Eastenders, The Bill, London’s Burning, Family Affairs, Football Heroes and Grange Hill.

Film work includes Guardians of the Galaxy,  The Callback Queen and Wedlock.

As an educator, facilitator and director Dominic has worked at Central School of Speech and Drama, Mountview Theatre School, Rose Bruford College and Morley College (where he was Head of Drama) As a freelance trainer and workshop leader clients include The Metropolitan Police, The Crown Prosecution Service, The NHS, Synergy Theatre Company (ex-offenders), Cardboard Citizens, Save the Children and many different Young People’s Organisations – working on Social Exclusion, Combating Violence, and promoting Diversity.

As director, Dominic  recently directed his own adaptation of Shakespeare – Macbeth:Reboot for Reboot Theatre company, from this going straight into rehearsals for To Kill a Mockingbird  for The Company at Morley College, this was followed in July 2016 by a sell-out run of Love and Money at The Network Theatre. Dominic is now working closely with the writer Matthew Cunningham to develop a new play for Reboot Theatre Company; an exciting off-shoot of this project is a short play, in a short space –  caravan to be exact!
